Welcome to Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower

Introduction

Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Ltd. (SMTHL) was established in 2016 for the construction and operation of Middle Tamor Hydropower Project (MTHP).

MTHP is a run-of-river (RoR) project located in Khoklin, Hangdewa, Sawadin and Phurumbu VDCs in Taplejung District of Nepal. The black topped approach road from the project site is at Banande, on the Machi Highway (233 Km), 5km south of Phungling Bazar which is the district Headquarter. From Phungling Bazar the project Powerhouse (Thumba village) and Headworks (Mitlung village) sites are accessible by a 5 km and 7 km long earthen road, respectively.
