Middle Tamor Hydropower Project (MTHP) with an installed capacity of 54 MW is a run-of-river (RoR) hydropower project located in Taplejung District of Nepal. The black topped approach road from the project site is at Bahanande, on the Mechi Highway (233 Km), 5 km south of district headquarters Phungling Bazar. From Phungling, the project Powerhouse (Thumba village) and Head-works (Mitlung village) sites are accessible via a 5 km and 7 km long earthen road, respectively.
